Home Practice
For my students who are working on speech articulation skills (speech sound production),: practicing outside of the speech room is absolutely essential in order to help correct these speech patterns. It is not only important to practice outside of the speech room, but it is imperative that these sounds are practiced “correctly.” Because of this, it is highly recommended that a parent, adult, or older sibling practice with the child to ensure they are using their good sounds correctly. Home practice should take no more than 5-10 minutes per day. Click here to check out some online speech articulation games that your child can use to practice their speech sounds!
For my students who are working on improving their language skills : I am happy to send home assignments for further practice of the skills we are working on, at parent request. Please contact me if you would like me to send home language therapy homework for you and your child to do at home.
