Homework

Planners
Students are required to complete their planner each day in class.  We expect them to include all the work that is due.  When work has been completed, they first place their work in their turn in folder, and then cross out/check the work in their planner.  Students will need a parent's signature each night.  Parents, please do NOT sign your child's planner if they have NOT completed their work.  These signatures will be checked the following day.  Students are fined if they do not have a parent signature.  (It is their job to ask the parent.)

Homework Hotline

Please call the Homework Hotline to find out what tonight's homework is!  This is a student's job.  It is updated EVERY night (unless there's a problem with our phones).

Literature Circle
Literature Circles are held on Fridays.  Each child will have been given their reading assignment the on the previous Friday.  Below are the jobs and the paperwork required.  Click on the job title to open up the document.  TIPS: As you are reading the section for Lit. Circle, use sticky notes to mark words, passages, conventions, etc. as you come across them.  Then, when it comes time to do your job you just need to look back at your stickies!  Also, when doing summarizer, take notes of MAJOR events at the end of each chapter to put onto your job.  Have fun!
